At the May Center for Evaluation and Treatment on our campus in Randolph, Mass., we offer diagnostic evaluation services for individuals ages 12 months to 21 years suspected of having an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or other developmental disability. All evaluations are conducted and/or supervised by a licensed psychologist.

When a child is diagnosed with an ASD, the entire family is affected. The May Center for Evaluation and Treatment also offers counseling and support to families of children with autism. These services help families as they cope with issues such as stress, grief, depression, and anxiety, which are commonly experienced by families following a diagnosis. We also help families to develop essential skills, such as time management and positive coping, so that they can better manage complicated lives.

In addition, we offer intensive behavioral services for a number of specific conditions including feeding and rumination disorders, elimination disorders, sleep disorders, and school avoidance and adjustment problems.
Our parent services include: stress management; marital adjustment issues; communication skills; and parent and family education, training, and support.
