Parent Support

When a child is diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), the entire family is affected. Our ASD Clinic offers counseling and support to families of children with autism. These services help families as they cope with issues such as stress, grief, depression, and anxiety, which are commonly experienced by families following a diagnosis. We also help families to develop essential skills, such as time management and positive coping, so that they can better manage complicated lives.

The National Autism Center offers “Pathways,” an educational series designed for parents of children and adolescents diagnosed with an ASD. The series provides critical information about ASD diagnosis, treatment options, and services.
