Services & Research

The National Autism Center serves as an efficient clearinghouse for information about Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and as a vital resource for those seeking to bring research into practice.

Home to one of the country’s largest concentration of clinicians with expertise in autism and related developmental disabilities, the Center is a vibrant hub of assessment, consultation, training, applied research, and dissemination.

Among its many services, the Center provides comprehensive assessment and evaluation for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), as well as education, training and consulting regarding early identification, accurate diagnosis, and evidence-based intervention. For visitors who want to experience evidence-based practice in action, guided tours of onsite model programs are available.

The National Autism Center also houses a research center. Through project updates, published findings, and research studies, the Research Center showcases applied research conducted by the National Autism Center working independently and in conjunction with national partners.
