"Reassure parents that there are ways to help their children. Parents are so overwhelmed when they first learn of their child's autism. I wish there was a way to let them know they will be happy again."

May Institute
The founding and initial development of the National Autism Center a private, nonprofit organization focused entirely on autism have been sponsored by The May Institute, a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated for the past five decades to providing comprehensive, research-validated services to children and adults with autism spectrum disorders, brain injury, mental retardation, and behavioral healthcare needs.
As a strong advocate of May Institute's research-to-practice methodology, the National Autism Center represents a natural next step, going beyond the Institute's impressive 50-year history in this field and carrying its legacy forward into a new era.
The National Autism Center is also supported by donations and philanthropic support.
